Carlin once said that if you dig beneath the surface of a cynic, you will find a broken hearted idealist. There's a reason for the cynicism. But, has it ever been any different? I think the peasants would have understood this all too well. The 50's, 60's, even part of the 70's economy was a fluke. An aberration. Anyway...how can a comedian be more astute than all the pundits?

I love that. Carlin rocks. He doesn't vote, though, but he rocks. So how do you start a revolution when you have no power?
